Hello everyone. We are trying something new and I thought Ryze would be perfect place to get some feedback from quality people on this.

We are launching a revolutionary new portal called XMLinsider.net that features a ryze like community for developers working with next generation Internet technologies. This community comes with messaging and collaboration capabilites, latest news and online tutorials, along with carrer networking. We will also feature a research center that will come with sub-communities organized under research topics that feature their own library of research resources.

We will also be launching an on-demand workspace built using the open-source Eclipse platform. As a member of our portal, you will be able to use the workspace to work with any tools in the market, over the web, on a subscription basis, to create Web services or enterprise applications that use them... giving you total control over project costs and interoperability issues.

In short, we are trying to jump-start the "real" Web services revolution by providing everything you need - from concept to support to development and depolyment - all under one roof at significantly lowered costs to you. You get to play around with leading tools and Web services, choose the best ones, and actually do work using nothing but the web!

If you would like to preview the portal, please go to www.xmlinsider.net -- its a work in progress and will be fully operational by end of this year.

I need your help in assessing the viability of our business and the concept behind our Workspace. Hence, I decided to post this as a survey.

Please let me know if you like our concept and will you use it if we build it.

Any help or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Amit Srivastav
