RFP Title: Automated Calling Center

RFP Number: IT201

Close Date for Letter of Intent to Respond: May 30, 2003 12:00p.m. Pacific Time (see Section 2.3)

The Evergreen State College is seeking proposals for the purchase of an Automated Calling Center system.

The purpose of this RFP is to purchase an Automated Calling Center system. This system will replace a non-automated system currently used in Evergreen's Annual Fund fundraising. The system will consist of twelve calling stations and fundraising will be year round. The Evergreen State College is a four-year public college with approximately 4000 students at the Olympia campus and 200 at the Tacoma satellite campus. Evergreen expects the Vendor will provide:

Calling center software appropriately sized for a campus the size of Evergreen. Software must also be upgradeable for future growth. Software must be compatible with PCs using Windows 2000 Pro.

  • Software licensing for all other software required for system functionality. (i.e. SQL, etc.)

  • Installation and configuration.

  • Consulting with appropriate Evergreen staff to develop interfaces and system configuration.

  • Furnish a complete project plan including timeline with vendor and Evergreen responsibilities clearly defined.

  • Furnish a detailed testing plan including Banner interfaces.

  • On-site training for Automated Calling Center administrators, callers, and Evergreen's technical support staff.

  • 24 hour x 7 days per week with maximum 2 hours response technical support.

  • Software Maintenance.

  • Headsets.

  • System hardware minimum and recommended requirements for optimal operation. Computer systems shall use Windows 2000 Pro operating systems.

Evergreen may furnish computer equipment and servers from existing Evergreen owned equipment or purchase direct from computer manufacturers using existing contracts. Evergreen will furnish calling center furniture and the Nortel telephone system.

A Letter of Intent to Respond, see Section 2.3, must be received via fax (360) 867-6831 or mail by 12:00p.m. Pacific Time, May 30, 2003 in order to be considered responsive.

It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to assure his/her response is received in Evergreen's Purchasing Office no later than 3:00p.m.
