"My own biggest mistake in the last 20 years was that I designed solutions for problems that people didn't yet know they had"
Once called the smartest man in silicon valley, even though he lives in Aspen, Bill Joy remains among the few to understand this world we live in.
Bill isn't the only one who's made mistakes in the last 20 years. Haven't we all? We've created wonderful things. No doubt. The world has changed. We walk today among with wonderful new shoes, through many labyrinths, through modern cities that didn't exist only a few decades ago.
Yet we continue to stumble, to walk funny in a way, that our long ears haven't yet heard; we won't see it, we don't hear it. But it isn't it everywhere?
Who had enough of passwords? Who's had enough of viruses? Spam? Enough! Who's ready to say, forget all of this. Forget everything.
We want a world without these things. We want a world without anti-spam because we want a world without spam. Rid the world of viruses and we don't need anti-spam.
We want a world without these problems, a world when we can finally create, we can finally celebrate.
This day is near. I hear it coming.
